I was kind of down in the dumps after the weirdness of yesterdays class. I actually was considering quitting school. I don't know if I'm going to be able to do this. I don't know if I'm going to be able to motivate myself....then I read Kayla's tinybuddah post and it made me feel a bit better. Today a customer came into work and we started off with small talk but then it snowballed into how much financial trouble she's in, how she has kids and has to help support them, how she's a widow, how she's been unemployed for over a year. She eventually just started crying and I kind of stood there numb. I told her I was sorry that bad things happen to good people and we're all feeling the pressure of the economy. She said thank you for listening and went on her way. I kind of should be grateful that I have a job (even though I think i'm going to stress myself out with working & attending school). If push comes to shove, I already asked my mum if I quit would she be able to help me make my minimum visa payments and she said yes...that's the one thing I was worried about. Oh, and my morning americanos.

...
I guess judging by today's class procrastination this semester is nearly impossible. It also might be next to impossible to see friends, the boyfriend & sleep?
On that note, I AM currently procrastinating because next Monday's advanced typography class is canceled due to Thanksgiving Monday.
Perhaps I can have a lazy day in bed? Have I mentioned how much I love lazy days in bed with D?

Pretty solid weekend!
Thursday stayed at Daves and had a chill night. Friday we slept in until noon and made our way to Granville Island. We got off at stadium, walked across the Cambie bridge and along the sea wall. It took us nearly two hours to get from his house to G.I., it was a nice walk nonetheless. We had a nice lunch and got really excited in the puppet store! I wish I had a puppet theater. After that we went to Talize and got Dave's halloween costume (he's gonna be Bob Ross). We found him a pair of black denim pants, a light blue denim shirt and some black dress shoes. They didn't have any big afro wigs there but his mom found one for him at value village. I found a cute pair of bright blue kitten heel shoes to go with my flapper halloween costume. I also found this dope shark shirt that I fell in love with, but the shoes were $5.00 and I also bought another few things and am pretty broke right now so I sadly put it back. I also found this really random shirt (I'll have to take a picture of it) that Dave fell in love with but he forgot to buy. He returned the next day when I was at work and bought the shirt he forgot to buy AND my shark shirt. Have I mentioned I totally love this kid?! EEEP! After work saturday, Dave picked me up at scott road and I had a mini nap before we headed out to his friend's kegger. (I'll say this now, I'm not a fan of big house parties...especially with a bunch of people I don't know. I decided to be a good girlfriend and put up with it.)
Things I learnt at my first kegger:

Things I learnt at my first kegger:
- Keg beer is disgusting.
- MGD is even worse in keg form than it is in bottles
- dancing with a bunch of drunks to "Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy" is basically hilarious

sore feet

I worked with dad & Andrew today and didn't pick the best shoes to wear.
My feet are so so so sore and in turn, the rest of my body feels like death. I'm so tired I want to sleep but I can't. Tomorrow and thursday are both long days at work. I'm not even use to working full days anymore since school started.
Dave took friday off so we can sleep in for a bit (:

Rather than try to write down everything that's happened in the past 3 months I'm just going to assume everyone that's reading this is already a part of my life and already knows.
I don't want to have to get into the nitty gritty details. To put it simply I'm happy now.
I'm going to try my best to blog.
